The Windermere Camping & Caravanning Club Site is a beautiful, quiet site between Kendal and Windermere. Being 4 miles from the Lake, of which the park shares its name, the site is close enough to the town for the restaurants, shops and bars, but far enough away to have a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Lakeland town. The site is one of the most sought after in the club network. The club itself is over 100 years old, and has over 100 of their own sites across the UK. On site there is a laundry, featuring state of the art washers and dryers. The Site also has a cosy Bar/Restaurant called ''The Whistling Pig'' which serves excellent food and always has a warm welcome.
